GIG is founded under the principals of providing outstanding service and customer experience.  However, the real genesis of GIG is the brainstorm of its owner, Chuck Ermisch.

Chuck is a world renowned golf course architect who has hands-on experience in providing design or construction services on 5 of the 7 continents of the world.  Mr. Ermisch currently has his own design business, but has also worked for Greg Norman, Nick Faldo, and Tom Watson, and the late Don Sechrest during his career with his roots being in the Central Mid West of the United States.  In his design career he has noticed that many of the projects he has been involved in lacked a common and much needed element.  That missing element is consistency between design intent and delivered product. 

Too many projects are designed to meet a business plan model, built, and then turned over to a third party who is not privy to, nor interested in what the original goals of the golf course project are in relation to the overall development.  The course is sadly mismanaged or treated as an asset to a larger corporation who had no say in the original development and therefore, the entire business plan, including the owners exit strategy is jeopardized and sadly lost, thus devaluing the investment of the owner to the point of collapse as well as the reputation of the golf course and its meaning to the overall development.

GIG is a direct result of Mr Ermisch’s desire to protect the design intent of the investment and to maintain the structure of the original business plan/model assuring that the owner has an asset he can be proud of that is not depreciated to the point of being a burden. 

Who else is more qualified to manage a facility in all aspects than the person who is most intimately involved in its conception?  Global Impact Golf is built on this premise, and this premise alone and is the right choice for any owner.
